MemberPress, a leading WordPress membership plugin, has acquired WishList Products, the parent company behind WishList Member and CourseCure. This acquisition brings together two major players in the WordPress membership and learning management space, with WishList Member continuing to operate under the leadership of Caseproof founder Blair Williams.

WishList Member, one of the earliest WordPress membership plugins, has been empowering membership and community sites since 2008. With more than 119,000 activations and a reputation for reliability, it has been a go-to solution for creating subscription-based sites. Its pricing ranges from $149.50/year to $249.50/year.

CourseCure Features Integrated Into WishList Member
One of the key changes announced is the integration of CourseCure, a learning management system (LMS), into WishList Member. Buyers of WishList Member will now get access to CourseCure’s features at no extra cost. However, the price of WishList Member will increase once the integration is complete, while pricing for existing customers will remain unchanged.
A Growing Portfolio for MemberPress
This acquisition is the latest in a series of strategic moves by Caseproof, which also added MemberMouse to its lineup earlier this year. Williams emphasized that WishList Member will remain a standalone product and will not be merged with MemberPress or MemberMouse.
“Our goal is not to discontinue WishList Member or combine it with another plugin,” Williams clarified. “We aim to improve it and continue supporting its loyal users.”
Commitment to Current Users
The WishList team, excluding co-founder Tracy Childers, will continue to support and develop the plugin under Caseproof’s leadership. Existing customers can expect the same level of service, with no immediate changes to pricing or support.
