WPShout Merges with CodeinWP to Create a Central WordPress Resource Hub

WPShout, a leading resource for WordPress professionals, has officially merged with CodeinWP, combining their strengths under the WPShout brand. The merger marks a significant step in creating a unified hub for advanced WordPress tutorials, developer courses, and website-building resources.

The Vision Behind the Merge

Acquired by Themeisle / CodeinWP in 2022, WPShout has been focused on serving the WordPress professional community. With CodeinWP and WPShout catering to a similar audience of advanced users and contributors to the WordPress open-source project, the decision to consolidate the two sites simplifies operations and strengthens their offerings.

“We wanted to reduce complexity while retaining the assets we’ve built over time,” said Sabina Ionescu, announcing the merge.

A Smooth Transition

The technical merger of both platforms was executed seamlessly, thanks to extensive planning. Over two weeks of preparation ensured that content migration, site mapping, and structure adjustments were carried out smoothly. The newly integrated WPShout now boasts:

  • 1,400+ articles focused on WordPress development and growth.
  • A flexible site structure inherited from CodeinWP for improved usability.
  • Continued focus on offering in-depth, unbiased advice for WordPress professionals.

“From a technical standpoint, the merge went exceptionally well. Planning and mapping the site structure in advance was key to avoiding potential pitfalls,” shared Milica Aleksandric, Technical Operations Lead.

What’s Next for WPShout?

  • A redesigned website structure to make it easier for readers to navigate resources.
  • Updates to the Up and Running course, one of WPShout’s most successful initiatives.
  • Enhanced content updates and weekly newsletters reaching 20,000+ subscribers.

The WPShout team remains committed to supporting the WordPress community with developer tutorials, tools, and actionable advice tailored to advanced users.
