Awesome Motive, a leading software company powering millions of websites, has announced its acquisition of Thrive Themes, a premium plugin suite with more than 200,000 users. This marks Awesome Motive’s second acquisition in 2023, following its deal with the Duplicator plugin earlier this month.
Thrive Themes’ Conversion-Focused Tools
Founded in 2013 by Shane Melaugh and Paul McCarthy, Thrive Themes offers nearly a dozen plugins and tools focused on conversion optimization. The product suite includes:
- Thrive Architect: A visual drag-and-drop page builder.
- LMS Course Builder: Tools for creating online courses.
- Marketing Plugins: Features for lead generation, quizzes, testimonials, and A/B testing.
Thrive Themes’ annual subscription, priced at $299, has become a go-to solution for marketers and businesses seeking to boost conversions and engagement.
What the Acquisition Means for Thrive Users
Although the co-founders will not be joining Awesome Motive, the existing Thrive Themes team will remain intact to maintain and support the product suite. Shane Melaugh assured users that:
- Thrive Themes will retain its branding and identity.
- No price hikes are planned for existing customers.
- Legacy memberships will continue to be honored.
“It will still be the same people building the products, and the roadmap we laid out for 2023 and beyond won’t change because of this acquisition,” Melaugh said.
Awesome Motive’s Vision
This acquisition aligns with Awesome Motive’s mission to deliver innovative tools for website growth. Thrive Themes joins a portfolio that includes popular products like OptinMonster, WPForms, MonsterInsights, and AIOSEO, all designed to help businesses succeed online.
